Come work on the link between anatomy, neural dynamics and cognition.

Most people joining the lab have experience with both neuroscience and computational modelling. You do not need to have followed one particular path, but applications are strongest when you can show serious engagement with both.

PhD students and postdocs usually enter CANN through funded university schemes, fellowships or advertised posts. If you identify a route that fits, then get in touch to discuss scientific fit and supervision.

Before a PhD

Paid RAs & degree projects

There are too few funded pre-PhD research positions. To partially mitigate this, Seán aims to support at least one paid pre-PhD Research Assistant whenever funding allows.

We can also sometimes supervise research that is a formal part of an undergraduate or postgraduate degree, subject to capacity and the rules of the degree programme.
