About
I am Xiaohe Yu. I have a background in applied mathematics and complex systems, and I am currently a PhD student in the CANN lab.
My research investigates how psychological stress affects cognitive computation within large-scale brain networks.
Research
I aim to understand how acute stressors, such as uncertainty, trigger catecholamine release in the brain, and how elevated catecholamines in turn modulate neural circuits, brain regions and behaviour.
